Val Ivanson

Val is a member of Rede's Advisory and Coverage teams working closely with private credit GPs and LPs.

As a senior team member, Val establishes and maintains close relationships with a range of institutional investors across North America. He acts as a trusted advisor to Rede's GP clients, providing insights into the investor landscape and market trends.

Prior to joining Rede, Val was the Head of US Research at Stable Asset Management where he was responsible for deal sourcing and structuring, underwriting and due diligence across private investment strategies and providing operational support to GPs. Prior to Stable, Val was a Senior Analyst on the Private Credit team at Aksia LLC, a global consulting firm. He was involved in all phases of the investment process including sourcing, due diligence, evaluating and monitoring of managers. Val worked closely with global institutional investors in building and managing customized portfolio mandates.

Val started his career as a quantitative risk analyst at Ivy Asset Management and holds a B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Business Management from Stony Brook University.
