Magnus Goodlad

Magnus is a Partner and Co-Head of Rede's Capital Solutions team.

He advises clients on a wide range of GP-led secondaries transactions. He helps oversee Rede’s Capital Solutions team, advising clients on creative re-investment and fund finance solutions including continuation vehicles, single asset transfers, strip sales, minority equity direct transactions, GP-led LP tender offers, NAV financing facilities and GP equity and debt financings. Magnus is also responsible for strategic oversight of Rede’s Operations team.

Prior to joining Rede, Magnus was Chief of Staff to Lord Rothschild and responsible for the private equity and venture capital investment programmes for the Rothschild family and philanthropies from 2014 to 2019.

He was previously a partner at Hermes GPE, a global private equity and infrastructure fund and co-investment manager. He spent 10 years at Top Technology Ventures and IP Group Plc specialising in early-stage UK technology venture capital and intellectual property commercialisation investment where he held various roles, including Chief Operating Officer. He began his career as a solicitor with Slaughter and May.

Magnus holds an MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford.
