Rede Partners appoints Eric Ellul as Chairman alongside two senior hires
Rede Partners, a leading independent fundraising advisor to the private equity industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Ellul as Chairman[1] alongside two new senior hires.
As Chairman, Eric will work closely with the firm’s leadership, supporting Rede’s strategic decision making and the firm’s continued growth and development.
Eric brings deep sector expertise to Rede, having spent over three decades advising private equity GPs and LPs on governance, strategy and performance improvement. Prior to joining Rede in July 2020 he worked at The Boston Consulting Group, most recently as Senior Partner and Managing Director in London. In 2011 he was appointed Head of BCG’s Global Principal Investor and Private Equity Practice, as well as serving as Chairman of the Global Audit & Risk Committee. Eric also serves of the Boards of two private-equity backed businesses, CERBA Healthcare and M Group Services, and is a Trustee of the Wallace Collection in London.
Alongside Eric, Rede has also appointed two Associate Principals.
Etiene Ekpo-Utip joins the Advisory team in Rede’s London office. Etiene began his career in Lazard’s M&A Advisory team before spending five years at placement adviser Acanthus Advisers where he was involved in over 20 European private equity fundraisings worth more than €4 billion in aggregate. Matthew Zuckerman joins Rede’s expanding North American Coverage team after leading U.S. Business Development at multi-billion dollar transatlantic specialty credit manager, Fair Oaks Capital. Matthew previously worked at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s Securities and Investment Management Divisions.
