Rede named Placement Agent of the Year at 2022 Unquote Awards

We are incredibly proud to have been awarded Placement Agent Of The Year at the Unquote British Private Equity Awards. This has been an exceptional year for Rede and we are delighted that the hard work, commitment and excellence of the team has been recognised.

The award recognises our achievements during the 12 months ending July 2022. During this period, Rede Partners raised a record €48.4bn in aggregate across 28 funds holding final and interim closes, including €11.4bn of ‘new’ money.

Twelve funds held final closes, including the largest European healthcare buyout fund raised to date (GHO, €2bn), the largest European Impact fund to date (Summa Equity, €2.3bn), a first-time fund (Ashgrove, €300m), and three new platform extensions (for Nordic Capital, TCV and Verdane). Across these 12 funds, 31% of capital was raised from new investors. Our Transactions team also raised a total of €4.1bn across a broad spectrum of GP-led transactions and innovative fund financings.

We expanded our team to over 100, opening our third office in Hong Kong. Our dedicated Impact team continued to build momentum, closing three funds for Summa, Circularity Capital and Verdane and launching three further raises.

Across the market, decision makers increasingly rely on our industry barometer, the Rede Liquidity Index, now widely recognised as a leading indicator of fundraising sentiment. We were also delighted to welcome over 600 participants to our second RedeConnect virtual conference in April, broadcasting original webinar content, panel discussions and exclusive presentations by Rede GPs to over 200 LPs at small group ‘roundtable’ meetings.
