Rede Partners appoints Riccardo Villa as Head of Strategic Capital Advisory

Rede Partners announces the appointment of Riccardo Villa to the newly created role of Head of Strategic Capital Advisory.

Riccardo joins with 20 years of experience from Lazard to deepen Rede’s capabilities in supporting its clients to build their franchises through accessing capital at both the portfolio and corporate level. This includes further enhancing Rede’s existing capabilities in delivering GP-led secondary transactions and fund financing to incorporate a full spectrum of minority equity, M&A and alternative liquidity solutions. Furthermore, Riccardo will also support Rede’s role as a trusted strategic advisor to its GP clients, in particular focusing on franchise and inorganic expansion opportunities.

Riccardo brings extensive M&A and independent advisory experience focused on private capital in Europe and the Middle East. In his previous role at Lazard, he was a Managing Director in London responsible for Financial Sponsors advisory. Over the years, he advised a wide range of alternative asset managers, institutional investors and portfolio companies in relation to M&A, equity and debt capital markets, as well as secondary market transactions across geographies and sectors. Collectively, this included advising on over 30 large-cap and mid-market transactions since 2020 alone, representing c.$40bn in value.
