Private Markets Sustainability and Impact Report 2024

Rede Partners is delighted to publish our Private Markets Sustainability and Impact Report, monitoring and analysing institutional investor (or Limited Partner, “LP”) sentiment towards climate, Sustainability and Impact investing.

Key findings from the report:

  1. It’s the returns, stupid

Impact allocations are growing due to LPs’ conviction in potential outperformance

  2. Climate reigns supreme

Investors continue to show a strong preference toward climate strategies and are increasingly gaining comfort with brown-to-green and asset-intensive strategies

  3. No special treatment for Impact

Investors largely apply the same mandate parameters to their Impact mandate as non-Impact

  4. Emerging comfort with emerging managers

LPs recognise that they must engage closely with emerging managers and new platform extensions

  5. Measurement remains a minefield

While Impact measurement tools continue to proliferate, the market has not yet found a consistent and comparable solution
