Making a Difference: Rede Americas Celebrates Charity Week 2024
Last week, our Rede Americas team dedicated time and effort to give back to the community. We partnered with local charities to support causes close to our hearts, and the impact was felt firmwide.
During the course of the week, team members volunteered at a variety of charities. Charities included God’s Love: We Deliver where the team unpacked boxes of essential toiletry items donated by companies such as Bombas and Garnier, that were delivered in conjunction with Thanksgiving meals. Continuing the week, the team partnered with Barry’s Cares who gifted an exercise class so that the fee could be donated to DreamYard. DreamYard is dedicated to working with Bronx children, families, and schools to build pathways toward equity and opportunity.
Later in the week, the team partnered with Minds Matter to do mock interviews. Minds Matter is a charitable combination of individualized mentor support and academic instruction that provides students with the resources, information, and guidance they need to gain admission to, enroll in, and graduate from four-year colleges. To round out the week, the team participated in Beach Cleanups which benefits the Surfrider Foundation.
