Scott Church, Partner
Scott is co-founder of Rede Partners. Managing the distribution function for mandates across all fund types and geographies, Scott brings Rede clients over 20 years’ institutional sales and origination experience across private equity and debt capital markets. Prior to co-founding Rede, he led the non-US investor and business development efforts for the private equity placement groups at Lazard and Merrill Lynch and has worked on c.100 fundraising assignments in the last 15 years representing over $125 billion in aggregate funds raised. Scott holds an MBA from The Leonard N Stern School of Business at New York University, and a BSc in Music and Business from Indiana University.

Adam Turtle, Partner
Adam is co-founder of Rede Partners. He is responsible for the project management of all mandates bringing clients over 15 years of private equity fundraising experience during which he has led more than 30 primary fundraisings totalling over €30 billion of capital. He has also led secondary transactions totalling over €3 billion. Prior to co-founding Rede, Adam spent seven years at Credit Suisse in their Private Fund Group before becoming Director of Fundraising at Actis, a leading emerging markets private equity firm. Adam holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Robert John, Senior Adviser
Robert is Senior Adviser to Rede Partners, providing support to the business in setting strategy, managing growth and driving long term business development. Robert has an excellent track record in financial services and real estate, and has Board experience both in the public and private sectors. Since beginning his career at Citibank, Robert has held senior executive posts in the City and Canary Wharf. He was a partner at KPMG consulting in the private finance initiative field and was a founding partner of financial services advisory business Abros Enterprise Limited. Robert studied Economics, Politics and Law at Cambridge University, received an Honorary Doctorate from Swansea University in 2014 and a fellowship from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2015.
Mark Barbour-Smith, Chief of Staff
Mark is responsible for Rede’s business operations, people and talent management, as well as helping define and implement the firm’s growth strategy. He has 20+ years’ of M&A and corporate finance experience in banking and the law. Prior to joining Rede, Mark worked for Credit Suisse, where he was the COO for EMEA M&A. Prior to that, he was an M&A banker at HSBC and latterly held management roles, in both London and New York, in HSBC’s Investment Banking Department. Before moving into banking, Mark was a corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance. Mark holds an LLB from Dundee University.

Dushy Sivanithy, Principal, Head of Origination & Due Diligence
Dushy leads Rede’s origination activity across the business’ primary, secondary and strategic advisory services, as well being responsible for Rede’s due diligence process. Dushy has over 15 years of experience in the fund investment industry at Pantheon, Hermes and CDC. During his 10 years at Pantheon, Dushy was a member of the European and Emerging Markets investment committee, responsible for manager selection and relationship development. He has led €1.4 billion of investments in over 30 managers, holding Advisory Committee positions with 35 funds. Dushy is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Physiology from Kings College London.

Kristina Widegren, Principal
Kristina is an experienced private equity professional and leads Rede’s distribution throughout the Nordic region, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain. She has worked across Rede’s clients from some of the largest Pan-European managers to specialist first time funds. With over 14 years’ private equity and financial markets experience, Kristina previously worked as a Director within the Investor Relations team of Palamon. Prior to Palamon she spent seven years at Lehman Brothers in ECM, responsible for relationship and coverage of European clients and the execution of transactions totalling over $30bn. Kristina holds a BSc in Business Management, IT and Languages from the University of York.

Yaron Zafir, Principal, Head of Secondaries and GP-led Transactions
Yaron leads Rede’s secondaries practice, advising Rede’s clients on a wide range of secondary market solutions. He is also involved with origination activities across both primary and secondary mandates. With over 14 years of private equity experience, Yaron has led a wide range of secondary transactions including GP restructurings, captive GP spin-offs and fund interests portfolio sales. Prior to joining Rede, Yaron worked for over five years at global secondaries investor Paul Capital, where he co-founded the London deal team, and before that as an investment manager at Cedar Fund, an early stage venture investor. Yaron holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a BSc in Computer Science and Management from Tel Aviv University.

Marina Jovanovic, Principal
Marina is an experienced private equity professional with over 14 years’ experience and leads Rede’s distribution throughout the DACH region, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Before joining Rede, she was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs focusing on emerging market prop deals and European leverage finance. She was also a co-founder and Partner at SEDA Capital, an investment advisory firm focusing on providing corporate finance advice to Russian HNWI on cross-border asset acquisitions. She began her career working in private equity at DLJ Merchant Banking in New York. Marina holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA from Kennedy School of Government, as well as an A.B. cum laude in Economics from Harvard College.

Alexandra Zarrilli, Principal
Alexandra Zarrilli, CAIA: has 12 years of alternatives and asset management experience. Prior to joining Rede, Alex was a Partner and the Director of Business Development at Raveneur Investment Group LP, a Blackstone-seeded distressed credit and special situations equity fund, where she was responsible for leading and executing all fundraising and investor relations initiatives. Previously, Alex was a Director in Blackstone's Park Hill Group, where she advised on and coordinated a number of fundraises for a variety of leading General Partners, and a Director at Merchants' Gate Capital LP. Alex started her career at BlackRock, where she served a number of the firm's U.S. pension, endowment and foundation clients in an investor relations capacity. Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in European History and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Monika Stone, Financial Director
Monika is responsible for the Finance function at Rede bringing over 12 years’ experience to the role. Monika has worked in various finance roles throughout the financial service sector in the UK, New York, and Tokyo. Prior to taking the finance route, Monika worked as a tax consultant with Arthur Andersen in Perth Australia. Monika has a Business Degree from Curtin University, Western Australia.

Claudia Milliken, Associate Principal
Claudia brings over 8 years’ private equity and investment banking experience and has a senior role within Rede’s distribution team with responsibility for North America and Australia. She works across all Rede’s client mandates with experience from a wide range of Pan-European and country specific managers. Claudia joined Rede from Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ where she worked as a senior associate within the Securitisation Group (IBD). Prior to Bank of Tokyo, she was a credit analyst at Macquarie Bank. Sabrina Malpas, Associate Principal
Sabrina plays a key senior project management role at Rede, bringing over 9 years’ equity capital markets and private equity experience. She has worked with a range of leading Pan-European managers as well as a number of specialist players. Julie Prewer, Associate Principal
Julie brings over 12 years’ private equity and financial markets experience to Rede, playing a key senior project management role across the business. She has been part of the firm since its foundation and has worked with a wide range of Pan-European and country specific managers. Before joining Rede, Julie spent three years at Actis, working in the firm’s investor relations and fundraising team. Prior to Actis, Julie worked in the financial services M&A sector, having started her career at Ernst & Young and subsequently moving to Fenchurch Advisory Partners, a specialist corporate finance boutique. Julie holds an MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Oxford University and a BSc in Psychology from University College London.

Sarah Bourne, Associate Principal
Sarah has a senior project management role at Rede, bringing over 7 years’ equity capital markets experience. She has worked across both Pan-European and specialist managers. Alastair Baird, Associate Principal
Alastair is an experienced IR and fundraising professional and works across the business’ project management and distribution functions. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has worked with a variety of clients and within distribution he covers the UK. Before joining Rede he spent four years as an Associate within the Investor Relations team of Park Square Capital co-ordinating all communications with existing investors and helping with all aspects of fundraising for the firm. Prior to Park Square, Alastair worked in IR for New Amsterdam Capital, a European credit fund and CLO manager. Alastair holds an MA in Modern History from the University of St Andrews.

Ian Flavell, Associate Principal
Ian works across Rede’s distribution and project management functions and since joining the firm in 2014 has worked with a number of Pan-European, country specific and thematic managers. Within distribution, he covers North American investors. He joined Rede Partners from Barclays where he gained strong investment expertise working in various international roles across the business’ Portfolio Management, Structured Products and Derivatives divisions. James Varela, Associate Principal

Jonathan Hartland, Senior Associate

Xavier Hernando, Senior Associate

Joseph Chow, Associate

Helen Jenkins, Analyst
Helen is an Analyst providing project management support across a range of client mandates. She joined Rede from a boutique Investment Bank in Dubai as a Senior Analyst in DCM & Syndications. During this time she also completed a secondment with JP Morgan in New York.
